Resisting change “the need to be me”

When you find yourself resisting change because you are clinging to a false or pointless notion of your self, remember that effective leadership in the end is not about you, it is about what people think of you.  The excessive “need to be me” is one of the toughest obstacles to making positive long term change in behaviour.
