Why we started

Marketing Statements was established by Alan Patterson in 1999 to test a hypothesis:

“If the directors of companies spent as much time and effort looking forwards and outwards towards customers and their needs as they spend each year looking backwards and inwards when preparing the financial statements of their companies, they would deliver far more value to their shareholders and other stakeholders”
